We went there during the 2026 World Cup and the AC’s weren’t functioning so the experience wasn’t as we thought it would have been. We were very hot and there were more than 50 people in the same area. It felt it was an outdoor area that was covered and the AC wasn’t enough for so many people in the same room.

The place is superb cool with a relaxing atmosphere and ambiance. I loved their outside seating area which had a iconic view of Al jadaf waterfront and the UAE 🇦🇪 Dubai Sheikh Mohammed Book Library.

Appalling Management and Dishonest Service – Avoid!
If you're looking for a relaxing evening out, do yourself a favor and skip the Belgian Beer Cafe in TECOM. What should have been a fun time was completely derailed by blatant dishonesty and shockingly poor management.
When I first walked in, I specifically asked Bilal if I could use my Zomato discount in conjunction with the Happy Hour. He clearly confirmed that I could. Fast forward to when it actually mattered—Bilal conveniently vanished.
When I tried to resolve the issue, I was met by the manager, Shenouda Daoud. To call his behavior "unprofessional" would be an understatement. Shenouda was incredibly arrogant, dismissive, and downright rude from the second he approached. Instead of handling the situation like a competent manager, he told me he spoke to Bilal and that Bilal claimed he "never said that"—essentially calling me a liar to my face.
Rather than honoring his staff's word or attempting any sort of customer recovery, Shenouda chose to be combative and completely unaccommodating. A manager is supposed to de-escalate and ensure guests feel valued, but Shenouda clearly lacks even the most basic hospitality skills. His attitude is a massive liability to this establishment.
The only saving grace of this entire fiasco was Kiran, who was the absolute friendliest of the bunch. Kiran was warm, professional, and genuinely tried to provide good service. It’s a shame he has to work under such abysmal leadership.
Overall, this was an absolutely horrible experience. Between Bilal’s bait-and-switch and Shenouda’s aggressive lack of customer service, I will definitely not be returning. Take your business somewhere that actually values honesty and treats its patrons with basic respect.

Honestly disappointed, French onion soup was inedible super concentrated and with a random floating bay leaf still in my soup. Any chef knows not to leave the bay leaf inside the pot. Tenderloin was below average mushroom sauce was cold and side vegetables were not pleasant. Wouldn’t come back 2/5

I have been a regular customer in this place. The food and the service have been always really good.
Unfortunately for the last one year and for a Leffe Beer fan like me, there is no Leffe Beer Pint glass available in this place which I think is not acceptable for a Belgian Beer Bar.

As a Belgian, I feel qualified to say the food here is reassuringly authentic; comfortingly close to what you’d find back home, which is both impressive and slightly suspicious. The menu boasts a generous selection of Belgian beers (as it should), with wine available for those who prefer to stray. It’s a fun concept overall. Think French cuisine, but with a bit more substance and fewer existential crises on the plate.

This place went down to the bottom. Not only the prices doubled with a service going down. Now you enjoy enhaling sigarette smoke on 1st and 2d floor that used to be non-smoking before. Decent venue set over 3 floors with the best floor being the top one. Problem is they only open up the top floor after 6pm. Middle floor is just a thoroughfare to toilets and for kitchen staff. Bottom floor dark and usually smoke filled.
Good selection of beers (for Dubai) as you would expect. Like most places, happy hour prices are kreeping up. They seem to have massively reduced the size of their food menu which was disappointing.

I don't know what happened to this place, but I have been coming here for the past 8 years at least and 2025-2026 changes are very disappointing. Service went down, staff running like headless chikens not paying attention to anyone. Menu changed, portions became rediculous, prices got an increase and overall experience went down. They made smoking areas now everywhere, like a cheap pub. Almost 70 AED for this tiny baby squid portion, for real? Ah, "we also discontinued the wet wipes"...what's next?

Super slow services. We visited there during weekend lunch time and the restaurant wasn't busy at all. We ordered some drinks, foods and desserts but it took nearly 30 mins tk serve beers despite my repeated follow ups. I simply don't understand why it takes half an hour just to pour some beer from that tap. And the same slow service continued for the food and desserts. Definitely not recommended if you can't wait that long.

Yesterday we ordered the open mussels with fries. Shortly after eating, we experienced sharp stomach pain, nausea, and discomfort.

Decent selection of Belgian Ales with above average prices. The Bierkasteel and Triple Karmelite was my quaff of the night...didn't try the food since beer was my mission. Great ambience. Stayed on the 1st deck by the bar where SUMAN-the barkeep is is doing diligent work. Great dude! I was having a good time solo-chugging my Belgian ale and all these happens....well, bar life...all in all good ales, expensive albeit. Nice feel...i heard there's an outside patio. You be the judge, check it out.

I am a regular guest at the place. The value for money is still OK, as long as you stay with happy hour offers until 8pm.
Typical burger, steak, fries place with good Belgium Beer selection (Hoegarden, Leffe, Stella).
The service is excelent.

My recent visit to the Belgium Beer Cafe was a very positive experience. As the name suggests, the cafe is located inside a hotel. I really enjoyed the atmosphere; it was cozy and had a lovely vibe.
Since I don't drink alcohol, I opted for a fresh pineapple juice instead, and it was absolutely delicious and refreshing. They do, however, have a wide selection of beers and cocktails for those who are interested.
The true highlight of my visit was the food. I tried their grilled Australian lamb ribs, and they were incredible. Perfectly cooked and packed with flavor, they were truly delicious and memorable.
Overall, based on my experience, it's a good place for a high-quality meal in a pleasant setting. The food and non-alcoholic options were excellent, making it a worthwhile visit for me.

Recently visited Belgian Beer Café and was really disappointed with the food. The taste was far from what we expected, the presentation was unappealing, and overall it just didn’t feel worth it. I'm Franco-Belgian, and in our country, moules marinière is sacred. Unfortunately, we didn't find the quality and taste we expect from a real mussels and fries dish here.
The vegetables were cut too large, especially the carrots and onions, and clearly undercooked, which made the dish a little too raw. The mussels, on the other hand, seemed slightly undercooked for our taste, and the overall effect was rather bland, lacking any real flavor. We also had some doubts about the fries, which didn't seem homemade.
We also had to have the Aperol Spritz remade, as the first glass had neither bubbles nor the taste of Aperol or Prosecco. And to be honest, we got the impression that the bartender was a bit annoyed. Unfortunately, even the second glass was identical.
Another point to note: the terrace is enclosed but is subject to a strong draft due to the air conditioning. If you're sensitive to the cold, consider bringing a light cardigan.
The staff remains friendly, however. And if you're very hungry, opt for the all-you-can-eat mussels: the 500g portion is a bit small.

This was our fifth time dining with you, as we’ve always appreciated the food and the warm service provided by your staff. From previous visits, we were informed that children are welcome until 9:00 PM, which we fully understood and respected.
On this occasion, we ordered desserts around 8:30 PM, intending to enjoy them and leave promptly. However, the service was unusually delayed. While returning from the bar at approximately 8:55 PM, I overheard your manager speaking to a waitress and saying “khalas”—indicating that we needed to leave by 9:00 PM. What was particularly upsetting was the dismissive and arrogant tone he used, not realizing that the table in question was ours.
This made us feel extremely unwelcome. I immediately asked for the bill, left the desserts untouched, and decided not to return to your restaurant again—despite how much we’ve enjoyed it in the past.
Such behavior is not in line with the hospitality and professionalism we’ve come to associate with your establishment. I hope you take this feedback seriously, as this manager’s attitude does not reflect the quality of your restaurant or the commitment of your otherwise excellent staff.

We were there to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The staff was great, they brought us a chocolate brownies and a candle. Overall the experience was good but music was extremely loud. We couldn’t hear each other at all when we were talking. The coconut shrimps were nice and crispy and the veal schnitzel was yummy.

Myself and three others were looking to watch a Champions League match here last week. When I called to see if they would show it on the screens I was met with contradictory answers. I was told both "yes" and "no" at least three times each in the span of a minute. When I asked for a reason there wasn't any, no one could give us a definitive answer or a reason why we couldn't show up on a Wednesday evening and enjoy some football. And what is most surprising is that this game was the only kick-off at that time (9:45).
It was disappointing to say the least but also surprising how a bar of this caliber would refuse business from four football fans who were looking to have a good time and perhaps, if things went well, become regulars.

I recently visited a restaurant-bar that offers an incredibly large selection of beers, unlike anywhere else in Dubai. They have unfiltered beer, as well as raspberry and cherry-flavored ones. It's probably one of the most interesting places to visit for beer enthusiasts. Today, I was there for brunch, and it was simply amazing. The little round bites were delicious, and then the fish-especially the salmon-was incredibly tasty. The DJ was fantastic, and there's a great singer who performs there. The atmosphere at today's Sunday brunch felt like Christmas—it was just so cool! They also have screens for sports fans. Today, they were showing diving, which was mesmerizing as well ! 💜

Mussels weren’t cleans correctly and I found them to be a bit overcooked. Nice sauce however

Very tasty but expensive mussels. Always offers for beers, which is appreciated. Nice atmosphere, although if you go with children you should know that people smoke and it is allowed even if it is a closed place.

Definitely enjoyed my dinner, avocado and prawn salad for starter and Grilled salmon for the main. Simply divine. Yummy bread too. Exceptional service from Shams and Sachin, extremely attentive. Good atmosphere, will definitely come again. Thank you Chef and kitchen staff.

Excellent in every way possible. But I will give them a 2 star review. Why, you may ask, well, because they used to allow smoking cigars indoors, and now they don't.

Menu has become stale for me as I've been coming here since it opened. I need more modern options.

Very good cafe. The beer selection is wonderful. True, my wife and I come here every time to drink Hoegaarden Rosee. I recommend it, you won’t regret it.

The food is excellent and the staff is efficient and friendly. It's very nice. But the prices remain quite high. Especially if you take a full menu. Which is not necessary because the plates are quite generous.

Belgian Cafe at Barsha Heights in Dubai is a cozy and incredibly warm three-story bar. Recently, the upper floor terrace has been covered, making it usable day and night even in hot weather, with a great DJ and vibe. My favorite part is the drinks, served in large glasses and unique, delicious craft options with a wide selection. We were a group of five and ordered the Charcuterie Board and Bites Meets Dips. I must say, if you’re going for drinks, you absolutely must order these two dishes. They have everything and are all delicious with both cold and warm flavors. Two of us don’t drink alcohol, so the bartender made them mocktail mojitos, which were so good that we all ended up ordering them 😅.
Then it was time for the main course. This place is not just a simple bar; it’s a professional restaurant. We had steak as our main course, including three types: fillet, lamb chops, and T-bone, along with their special burger and king prawns. In my opinion, the lamb chops and T-bone were absolutely fantastic, and the others were very tasty too, filled with pickles, sauces, fries, and delicious sides. Unfortunately, we were too full to try the dessert.
There’s free valet parking, easy access, a great vibe, and excellent food and drinks—what more could you ask for? They also have a few dart boards for passing the time and playing with friends. I highly recommend this place to tourists and residents alike.

This is not a Belgian beer cafe. This is a casual hotel bar located in Barsha. Compared the one in Medinat Jumeirah this branch is very average and doesn’t reflect the money you spend on food.

Okay food, very good service and the atmosphere is decent. Note that they don’t allow “sports shorts and sandals”, although what they define as a sports short is not clear.

Genuinely great chain which is let down by being smoke filled. The place was bustling and the staff seemed friendly, but not a single area was smoke free, even though people were dining. I was offered a space next to someone who was both eating what looked like a good meal while also puffing on a cigar. Belgian got rid of this nearly 20 years ago, it's a shame this restaurant hasn't copied that. Maybe it's just a matter of time.

It was my second time visiting here, love the atmosphere, the food was delicious and fresh. And kudos to the Filipino lady who attended us last weekend, she was very friendly and professional.

Back (05'26) and the sliders were on point. Indoor, ventilated smoking section was nice. Terrace opens after 6.
Back (06'24) where the top deck wasn't open so had to sit downstairs. There were a few tables free being a weekend too. The BBQ chicken wings and truffle fries were delicious. The Croque sandwich was not too bad either.
The Beers on an open top deck with better food and great service. Hard to beat.
And it's temperature controlled in the summer.
And the mussels deal (on Wed) was great.
The have a great happy hour too where beers are 30% off

The place is very nice with a light music.
The service is good and the food is tasty to mention the steak & fries and risotto with truffle.
Prices are fair.
But the place was not full bas too crowdy and some loud people were really annoying.

I liked the interior, drinks and food. We tried mussels and truffle fries. Everything was fresh and fries were super crispy. Good place to hang out with friends especialy if you like Belgian beer. Only minus was that the weitresses had problems with the order - to remember it and they forgot part, so it was not possible to get a complete order at once (maybe they should just write it down) also they put a tray with spices on a chair - this is somethig to be fixed.

I was in the neighborhood and fancied a beer. This appeared in my Google search, I like Belgium beer so why not.
After ordering a Leffe Blonde beer I has a look at the food menu, the Nachos are a favourite of mine and oh yes...........
They where fantastic I even saw the neighbouring tables pointing at them.
Staff where very nice and helpful.
Verdict 2 Leffe Blondes during happy hour and great Nachos equals happy Stu.
Thank you Belgian Beer Café.
